Nokia E90 Communicator Receives FCC Approval

Nokia E90 CommunicatorA few weeks ago, we told you about a series of new business devices that Nokia had announced. One of them was the E90 Communicator. It seems that Nokia is fairly close to launching the model in the U.S., as the E90 got the stamp of approval from the FCC on Friday.

Nokia created this phone for people that love to text and surf the web. The model has a monster 800×320px screen, the biggest Nokia has ever put in a device. The full qwerty keyboard looks super easy to use. It appears that the design is more like a computer’s keyboard instead of the sometimes hard to use mobile design standard.

Key E90 Communicator Features

  • 800×320px Screen
  • Qwerty Keyboard
  • 3.2 Megapixel Digital Camera
  • GPS Navigation
  • WLAN and HSDPA Connectivity
  • VOIP
  • Video Conference Calling
  • Intellysinc Mobile Connectivity

It is believed that that the release date for the E90 will be sometime in Q2, 2007. It appears that the price will be set somewhere in the neighborhood of $1000. Users who subscribe to service to get the model will of course get a discount.
