The Nokia E62 is a nice, business smartphone that is currently available for Cingular, the new AT&T. The model is one of the better units for business people; it offers a variety of personal and business applications. In reality the E62 is a lower-end smartphone, but still offers a variety of functions.

The E62 offers a email functionalities for both personal and business use. The model also offers a full QWERTY keyboard and the ability to edit Microsoft Office documents.

Cingular is currently offering the E62 for $349.99 without a contract. If you’re willing to sign a 2-year agreement with them, you can pick up the E62 for $29.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate.

Our honest opinion: The E62 isn’t as powerful as some of the other smartphones out there, i.e. Palm Treo 750, Blackberry 8800. However, it doesn’t cost as much either. For the amount Cingular wants for it, we say buy it. It fits in the entry level smartphone category.
