Nokia 6030 Features and Specs

Nokia 6030The Nokia 6030 offers a nice internet feature set, and is a super affordable model. The 6030 is small, light and allows users to make clean calls and access all their internet, connective locations.

The 6030 has all the IM services, web browsing, mediaNet, predictive text input, and an FM radio; the model would be a great one to have at the airport or DMV. :)

Cingular is currently offering the model; they want $169.99 for it without activation. With a 2-year service agreement they’ll let you have it for $19.99.

T-Mobile also offers the 6030; they’ll sell it to you for $99.99 without activation and will give it to you for free with a 1-year contract.

Key Nokia 6030 Features

  • Internet Browser
  • MediaNet (Cingular Only)
  • Dual-Band Service
  • FM Radio
  • Predictive Text
  • IM (Instant Messaging) Services: AOL®, Yahoo!® and ICQ®
  • Speakerphone
  • Send Text, Picture, and Audio Messages
  • MyFaves Capable (T-Mobile Only)
  • MegaTones (T-Mobile Only)

Nokia 6030 Specs

  • Dimensions: 4.0 x 1.7 x 0.7 inches
  • Weight: 3.17 ounces
  • Lion 900 mAH Battery Cell
  • Battery Life: 3 Hours Talk Time; 12 Days Standby
  • 850/1900 MHz with GPRS data

Our honest opinion: This model should be free with Cingular. It doesn’t have enough pop to warrant the $19.99 charge, especially with a 2-year activation. T-Mobile has it right, offering the model for free with a 1-year contract.

Buy this phone because it’s small, cheap, and still gets you connected to the internet. The model doesn’t have a camera or camcorder, lacks Bluetooth, and some other features.
