Earlier the this week, Motorola announced the Rizr Z8. The standout feature of the Z8 is the sliding mechanism, which slides open in a curve. The sliding motion is designed to better fit the user’s face.

One very impressive feature of the model is the capability of using a 4 GB memory card. This gives the user enough memory to store an entire movie in MPEG format, or a few in the compressed formats. The memory standard the model is using is microsd.

The model will offer an innovative entertainment experience because of a partnership with BSkyB. The partnership will allow the user to access a library of news, sports and entertainment, as well as access to their mobile tv service.
