Motorola Announces Q For Amp’d With Mobile TV

Motorola Q for Amp'd

Motorola announced yesterday that they have created a new version of the popular Q smartphone for Amp’d. The Q - Amp’d Edition was designed for mobile entertainment.

It’s easy to tell from their commercials that Amp’d was created for young people. They have trendy ads tailored for the younger generation. The service was designed from the ground up to be media friendly and socially powerful.

The Q will take advantage of Amp’d business model, bringing 24 live televsion channels to the users handset. The Q for Amp’d will also have 55 on-demand video channels, about a million songs for download, and some other impressive features.

Key Amp’d Q Features

  • Live TV: People are flat out going to love this. Young people have already been buzzing over the marriage of cell phones and television.
  • Amp’d Original Programming:
  • Social Networking: Complete Messaging Suite
  • Stereo Bluetooth Wireless Technology
  • Music and Video on the Go: Find tons of downloadable content; choose from movies, video clips, music, games, and more.
  • Personalization
  • Social Organization: Microsoft Office, Calendars
  • Entertainment Network

Even if you think that the Amp’d commercials are really annoying, you have to admit that this sounds intriguing. I would love to have the Amp’d Q at the airport.
