Kyocera 323The Kyocera 323 is a hip, flip-style model that is currently being offered by Verizon Wireless. The device is going for $49.99 on Verizon’s site, with a 2-year service agreement.

The 323 is one of Verizon’s phones that has chaperone capability. Parents are able to tell exactly where their child is, because the model transmits its GPS location. The capability makes it really easy to find children, family, or friends.

The Verizon 323 by Kyocera also has a camera and Get It Now. The model doesn’t support V Cast.

Our honest opinion: This model isn’t as nice as the other ones Verizon is offering in the $50 price range. (3/9/2007) We would recommend looking at the Samsung SCH-a930 or the Nokia 6315i. The 323 wouldn’t be bad if you could pick it up for free somewhere. It’s not worth paying extra for.
