Helio Ocean Released - First Dual Slider
The Helio Ocean was introduced today. The model is the world’s first dual slider phone. As you can see in the pictures to the left, the model has both a traditional numerical keypad and a full QWERTY keyboard.
The user decides which keypad he/she wants to use by deciding which way to slide the Ocean open. As you can see, the face of the phone is very minimalistic; most of the buttons for the device are nicely tucked away.
The Ocean ships with a monster, 2.4-inch, 260K-color high-resolution QVGA display, one of the biggest available anywhere. The Ocean also sports external stereo speakers, Bluetooth, and 200 MB of internal memory.
One of the more important features of the Helio Ocean is the integration of 3G technology, which is becoming a must have for smartphone users.
Helio is planning on releasing the model this spring. Helio Ocean price: $299
