Sanyo 3100 for SprintThe Sprint 3100 by Sanyo is a really nice, entry level handset. The model is currently being offered for free at Sprint.com. The model offers a nice feature set that includes operation of Sprint’s 800 and 1900 MHz CDMA networks, and on 800 MHz analog networks.

The model is offered in two colors, pink and silver, obviously one for the guys and one for the gals. As you can see, the model has a clock on the outer shell; it doesn’t have a screen one the outside though. The model sports a VGA camera, and notification of texts, service connection, and voicemail on the outer screen.

Sprint Goes Rugged - Sanyo SCP-7050

Sprint 7050The Sprint 7050, as most of you will call the newly announced Sanyo SCP-7050, is a megarugged handset designed for the manly men among us.

The model sports mil spec 810F compliance; perfect for users that work and live in dusty, tough conditions. The 7050 also has a nice feature set that includes: Bluetooth, speakerphone, and GPS.

Don’t look for a camera on the 7050, it’s not there.

We’ll keep you updated as more details, features, and specs are released for the model. Look for the phone early in April for at least $100 with activation.

The FCC has approved the Sanyo SCP 7050. It appears that the 7050 will be the successor to the 7000, which is currently being used by Sprint as one of their ready-link phones.
