Motorola announced earlier this morning that T-Mobile will be releasing the Motorola Rizr Z3 in the U.S. The ‘T-Mobile Rizor’ will be released very soon; T-Mobile has exclusive rights to the Z3. That answers the question that people have been asking in our forum for months, “Will there be a Cingular Rizr?” For now at least, there will not.
The Rizr Z3 will be the first GSM slider released in the U.S.; the T-Mobile version will be a vibrant pearl blue with a soft touch finish. The picture to the left isn’t the correct one; we’ll update as soon as a photo of the T-Mobile Rizr is released.
The Rizr is a nice, powerful phone that offers a 2.0 megapixel camera and an 8x digital zoom. The Z3 also sports a built-in music player and a microSD cardslot that can be expanded to 2GB.
