The Verizon Shine is on it’s way. Engadget was able to take a shot of the Verizon version at CTIA, and the model seriously looks amazing. The LG shine is already available in Europe (U.K., Russia, etc.) and we have to say wow to this model.
It appears at this time that Verizon doesn’t want to use the ‘Shine’ branding, and will opt for the vx8700 model #. Has there ever been a phone that outclassed the Razr’s look like the Verizon Shine VX8700 does? I submit that there has not!
Some other cell site are saying that the model doesn’t have enough pop to sell well in the U.S., but they couldn’t be more wrong. I’ll be buying one the day it comes out. (If I can’t get LG to send me one.)

Engadget took some pretty cool photos of the LG575, this sporty new clamshell that is bound for AT&T. The AT&T logo tipped us off :). As you can see, the 575 has a revolutionary design; the phone is just wicked cool.
We’re thinking that the model will end up as either the LG CU575 or the LG AT575, depending on whether LG continues to use the Cingular abbrevation or not. The model is currently being developed, so the feature set hasn’t been published. Let’s cross our fingers hoping that it has 3G.

The LG VX 8700 has finally been officially introduced. This model is an iconic clamshell, meant to be LG’s highest end flip. As you can see, LG used a clean, metallic design. The brushed alluminum finish makes for an amazing look, we’re not sure we’ve ever seen anything quite like it.
The model will be very powerful, it has a 2.0 megapixel camera and EV-DO technology for high-speed data transfer. The model also sports stereo Bluetooth and a microSD card-slot.

The LG vx9400 is a wicked nice TV phone that is now available through Verizon Wireless. The model was officially released a few hours ago. Guys, this model is a really, really good phone.
Here’s what it’s all about:
The vx9400 is about TV! Yes, you can watch TV on this bad boy. The model’s screen size is 2.2″, slightly larger than the size of the only other TV phone option for Verizon, the Samsung SCH-u620, whose screen is 2.0″.

Look like we were absolutely right when we predicted that the VX9400 would be released March 23rd.
Verizon has finally released the LG VX9400 TV phone. They’ve been holding out for a while, probably because the other tv phone (Samsung SCH-u620) won’t sell at all now, or Verizon will have to drop the price.
The model is selling for $199.99 with a 2-year contract on Verizon’s site. You may be able to find the model for less if you look hard enough online.

The LG CU400 is a 3G camera phone that is currently being offered by Cingular, the new AT&T. The camera of the CU400 is just VGA, which is nothing spectacular, however, the model offers a sporty 3G data connection.
The model also supports Cingular’s push to talk service and PTT grouping, allowing users to instantly talk with up to 30 people.
The model is being offered by Cingular for free (after a mail-in rebate) with 2-year service activation. They are selling the model for $199 with no contract.

LG Electronics has announced that they will host a ‘National Texting Championship’. Texters will compete against each other on camera; LG will discover who is the master texter of this universe and all others.
Catch: Only users of the LG enV will be able to compete in the contest, so it really isn’t going to be the master texter is it? It will be the master texter ‘that happens to own the LG enV’.
