The Kyocera Candid 2 is a black, stylish handset that is currently available for Cricket Communications. The model was designed in a deep black color, and was crafted with a pretty decent feature set for a phone from Cricket.
The model offers a VGA camera; as you can see the model doesn’t have a color screen in the outside. It does have a screen that shows the time and has indicators for service reception and battery life, however. The color screen on the inside has 128×128 pixels of resolution.
The model is a quite small (3.54 x 1.89 x 0.98 in) and is one of the cheaper models available through Cricket. The model connects to its network via CDMA 800/1900 and Analog 800.

Consider the announcement of the Kyocera S1000 proof that Kyocera wants to go out of business! Seriously in our opinion they will probably only sell 3 of these models in the entire universe.
Kyocera has announced key features of this model as ’straight forward keypad for texting’ and ‘3 hours of talk time’. We have no idea how they expect to sell this thing against models such as the Sony Ericsson w300i, which is also free and boasts 9 hours of talk time, a VGA camera, and a music player.

The Kyocera E1000 is one of 5 new handsets that were introduced to the public at CTIA. The model is very much like the E2000 which was also introduced, except it doesn’t have Ev-Do high speed connectivity or memory expansion.
The model does have a 1.3 megapixel camera and a smooth look, but the E2000 is much cooler. Sorry Kyocera!

The Kyocera E2000 is one of 5 handsets that was introduced to the public at this year’s CTIA. The E2000 was designed for the music lover; it offers quick music controls on the outer cover and memory expansion up to 2GB.
The model also sports a 1.3 megapixel camera/camcorder and a shiny black finish. The model actually looks like a musical instrument with its glossy finish.
Since the model hasn’t yet been released, full features and specifications aren’t yet available. We’ll be updating what we have on the model when it’s released.
If you would like to find a similar handset that’s already available, you should have a look at the Krzr K1m (almost identical in features) or the LG Chocoloate (similar but it’s a slider).

The Kyocera M1000 was just introduced at CTIA, and is a very unique, interesting phone. If you look closely, you’ll see that the model is a flip-style phone that opens sideways. Inside, you’ll find a QWERTY keypad allowing you to text and email with ease.
The model has dual displays and Bluetooth 1.2. We’re wondering why they didn’t make this phone cool looking.
It’s obviously a disaster, especially when compared to the other new handsets they unveiled. The E5000 is one of the coolest phones we’ve seen for a while, but this model needs some work. Hopefully they’ll revamp the color before they try to release it.
We’ll keep you up to date. The feature set should be released fairly soon.

The Kyocera E5000 was introduced yesterday at CTIA, and is a very interesting model. This phone has the #1 coolest hinge we’ve ever seen on a mobile phone. Seriously that hinge rocks.
The model has a nice feature set to go along with the brilliant look, offering Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, Ev-Do, and exterior, touch sensitive keys for music control. Yes, the model has a music player.
The model has been introduced, but isn’t yet available. We’ll let you know when the model is to be released soon. Additionally, we will post complete features when they become available.

The Kyocera 323 is a hip, flip-style model that is currently being offered by Verizon Wireless. The device is going for $49.99 on Verizon’s site, with a 2-year service agreement.
The 323 is one of Verizon’s phones that has chaperone capability. Parents are able to tell exactly where their child is, because the model transmits its GPS location. The capability makes it really easy to find children, family, or friends.
