The Helio Ocean was announced a few weeks ago and will be availabe in the spring of ‘07. Since it’s the spring of ‘07, we would expect the Ocean to be released very soon.
Helio says that they will charge $295 for the Ocean, which is one of the coolest smartphones ever made. As you can see, the Ocean has a dual-slider design. The model slide open one way to expose its full QWERTY keyboard, and the other way to show its numerical keypad.
The model is known for its ability to connect to tons of email services including: AOL® email and AOL® Instant Messenger™ (AIM®), Yahoo!® email and Yahoo!® Messenger, Windows Live™ Messenger, Windows Live™ Mail, Hotmail, GmailTM, EarthLink® email and Helio Mail. The Helio Heat by Samsung is indeed a wicked-hot handset. The model has been available for a few weeks now; it’s time to update you on the features and specifications.
As you can see, the Heat has a very revolutionary design. The model has a touch-sensitive control center and a slide form-factor. The Heat is covered with a sporty gold color that makes the phone look amazing and feel durable.
Under the hood, the Heat has an electro-static touch pad, ultra-fast 3G-EvDo data functionality, Bluetooth, GPS functionality, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a media player. The models ships with the ability to download online media, giving the user the ability to add more fun to their handset.

The Helio Ocean was introduced today. The model is the world’s first dual slider phone. As you can see in the pictures to the left, the model has both a traditional numerical keypad and a full QWERTY keyboard.
The user decides which keypad he/she wants to use by deciding which way to slide the Ocean open. As you can see, the face of the phone is very minimalistic; most of the buttons for the device are nicely tucked away.
